VA Healthcare Referrers & Community Care Staff

Clear Handoffs. Consistent Updates. No Black Holes.

“A behavioral health partner that reduces uncertainty instead of adding to it.”

Veterans Room closes the gap between referral and first session. Every referral is human-confirmed. Every veteran is contacted within one business day. Every no-show is investigated, not accepted.

When you refer a veteran, we take ownership of what comes next. You don't chase updates. We provide them. The authorization isn't the end of the process, it's the beginning of ours.

What Happens After Your Referral

1

Referral Received, Human Confirmation

Our care coordinator acknowledges receipt and begins active intake, not an automated acknowledgment.

2

Veteran Contacted Within 1 Business Day

We reach out to the veteran directly, confirm eligibility, and begin the matching process.

3

Match Confirmed, Provider Assigned

Veteran is matched to a culturally aligned, mission-screened provider based on clinical and cultural fit.

4

First Session Verified

We confirm session one occurred. If the veteran no-shows, we investigate and re-engage, not simply log it.

5

Continuity Locked

Post-session one, we confirm fit and momentum. You can trust the referral is not just open, it’s active.
